<p>This application is for individuals who have not substitute taught during the 2024-2025 without separating from the district. Individuals who have previously separated from the district or who are new to the district and would like to start substitute teach during the 2025-2026 school year, should apply through this job posting.</p> <p>About STMA Schools</p> <p>We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.</p> <p>Position Overview & Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsible for supervising and instructing students with a wide range of abilities. For more information, please see the job description for this position.</p> <p>Schedule: Varies by level and building school days</p> <p>Wages: $175/day.</p> <p>Benefits: No benefit eligibilty, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.</p> <p>Requirements & Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and required substitute teaching license (short-call, long-call, lifetime, or Tier 3 or Tier 4).</p> <p>Application Process</p> <p>Please apply online and attention application materials to Angel Lussier, Human Resources Supervisor. Once your teaching license is verified, you will be sent an automated email with links to complete a background check and an online new hire paperwork checklist. Once your background check is approved, you will be invited to an in-person interview. Interviews will be scheduled between 2:!5pm and 4pm on MOnday, September 22, 2025. Selected applicants will complete in-person paperwork (bring your driver's license and social security card) on site following the interview. All new substitutes will attend mandatory substitute training on a date to be scheduled and announced at interviews.
