<p>Primary oversight of the administrative functions of the Physician Practice to include operations, staff supervision, customer services and problem resolution.. Provides leadership with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Collaborates with providers to improve processes and resolve issues. Develops and coordinates efficient department procedures that support the operations of the Practice.</p> <p>naEDUCATION:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>High School graduate </li><li>BS Degree in business, healthcare, or related field. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>M.S. in business or healthcare administration. </li></ul> <p>LICENSE:</p> <p>PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <p>WORK EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years experience in Physician Practice operations, 3 years in a supervisory role. </li><li>Experience with computerized patient scheduling. </li><li>Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point and EMRs. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Physician Office and Physician billing. </li><li>Ability to create and manage an operating budget. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point. </li><li>Medent systems experience and patient scheduling. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional interpersonal skills, including prior positive physician relations. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to work independently and maintain current systems. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload, develop/maintain efficient office systems and complete payroll. </li><li>Strong verbal/written skills in communicating skills. </li><li>Exceptional organization skills, working knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 codes. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Outpatient admission/registration experience preferred. </li><li>Medical terminology. </li><li>Scheduling and billing knowledge and experience preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of Occupational Health, DOT and Worker's Compensation. </li></ul>
