<p>The Assistant Supervisor is directly responsible for the actions and job assignments of team members on an assigned shift in the absence of the Surveillance Supervisor.</p> <ul> <li>The Assistant Supervisor fills a skilled position that requires leadership and high degree of personal integrity. </li><li>The Assistant Supervisor assists the Surveillance Director and Surveillance Supervisor in fulfilling day-to-day operational requirements for the surveillance department. </li><li>The Assistant Supervisor protects the assets and maintains the integrity of the company using Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). The Assistant Supervisor utilizes the necessary surveillance equipment to respond to, and identifies questionable activities. The Assistant Supervisor performs all duties in accordance with Caesars Entertainment policies and within the realm of the Surveillance Mission Statement. </li></ul> <p>Scope of Job:</p> <p>The Assistant Supervisor protects the assets of the Hotel/Casino through the use of gaming and security cameras.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supports Caesars Entertainment's mission, ethics, and values. </li><li>Operates CCTV systems to monitor casino activities; prepares reports and logs. </li><li>Identifies and evaluates illegal activity, reporting to appropriate departments with recommendations. </li><li>Enforces state and federal regulations; ensures compliance with all policies and procedures. </li><li>Performs additional duties as assigned by management. </li><li>Delivers exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests. </li><li>Maintains a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanor in all interactions. </li><li>Uses warm body language and tone (smiles, eye contact, friendly voice) to create a welcoming atmosphere. </li><li>Celebrates guest wins and fosters a sense of excitement and luck. </li><li>Stays informed about facility hours, promotions, and guest-relevant information. </li><li>Greets guests warmly and builds rapport through personalized service. </li><li>Anticipates guest needs and delivers fast, flawless service. </li><li>Executes service programs with a focus on top-tier guests. </li><li>Checks for guest satisfaction and uses Service Recovery process when needed. </li><li>Promotes Caesars Rewards program and encourages membership. </li><li>Provides warm farewells and thanks guests for visiting. </li><li>Represents Caesars positively and acts as a role model for peers. </li><li>Strictly adheres to all regulatory, company, and departmental policies. </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Has knowledge of all slot and table games procedures and Regulation 6 of Nevada State Gaming Commission.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures all surveillance equipment is operating at start of shift, during shift and completion of shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains all logs and ensures accuracy of log entries.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains confidentiality of all Hotel/Casino information.</p> </li><li> <p>Reports all incidents observed on shift to the Director of Surveillance, Surveillance Manager or Surveillance Supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates incidents to pit personnel by phone.</p> </li></ol> <p>Marginal Job Functions:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Use of office equipment and computers.</p> </li><li> <p>Ongoing games protection training.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides training assistance to new employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Interaction with law enforcement and courtroom.</p> </li></ol> <p>Necessary Attributes/Characteristics</p> <p>Experience & Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of two years of casino surveillance experience required. </li><li>Must have strong working knowledge of all casino games, gaming regulations, card counting, and cheating detection methods. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Knowledge of all Casino/Hotel operations. </li></ul> <p>Communication & Interpersonal Skills</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to interface effectively with the public and co-workers. </li><li>Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. </li></ul> <p>Professionalism & Appearance</p> <ul> <li>Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene. </li></ul> <p>Technical & Operational Skills</p> <ul> <li>Basic computer operational skills required. </li><li>Strong organizational and leadership abilities. </li></ul> <p>Work Flexibility</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. </li><li>Willingness to work unscheduled shifts on short notice. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>A very fast paced environment. Must be able to handle large amount of information and take the best action necessary to correct the situation.
