We work to build strong relationships with our clients that promote trust, cooperation and teamwork.</p> <p>The Surveying Project Manager is responsible for overseeing field and office staff, ensuring project accuracy and quality, maintaining client relationships, and delivering projects on time and within budget.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Key Responsibilites:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Manage multiple land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, construction staking, and ALTA/NSPS surveys</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee survey field crews and office technicians, providing direction, scheduling, and quality control</p> </li><li> <p>Review and certify survey data, plats, and legal descriptions for accuracy and compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal engineering teams</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare project proposals, scopes, budgets, and schedules</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with state and local regulations and surveying standards</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with civil engineers, planners, and other stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor junior staff and support professional development</p> </li><li> <p>Implement and maintain safety standards for field operations</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Demonstrated experience managing projects and leading teams</p> </li><li> <p>Strong knowledge of survey equipment, GPS, total stations, and data collection software</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related surveying software</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with drone/UAS surveying and LiDAR technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Wisconsin DOT standards and municipal requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Business development or client relationship experience</p> </li></ol> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field</p> </li><li> <p>5-10+ years of progressive experience in land surveying</p> </li></ol> <p>License or Certification Requirements:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Valid driver's license is required</p> </li><li> <p>Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Wisconsin (required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)</p> </li></ol> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ol> <li> <p>This position requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to walk and climb over rough terrain</p> </li></ol> <p>PPE Requirements:</p> <ol> <li>Hi-Visibility clothing should be worn on job sites and in the field as necessary. </li></ol> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer</p>
