<p>The Center for Healthcare Delivery Science (CHDS) at Nemours Children's Health in Delaware is seeking a full-time Research Interventionist.</p> <p>The CHDS is a research center across the Nemours enterprise. Anne E. Kazak, Ph.D., ABPP is the enterprise director, Melissa A. Alderfer, PhD is the Center Director in Delaware and Susana R. Patton, PhD, ABPP is the Center Director in Florida. The CHDS includes over 20 investigators that study ways to improve health care, health equity, and health and wellness beyond medicine for youth and their families. Research projects span a variety of medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, pain, asthma, food allergy, disordered eating) and other health-related challenges (transition from pediatric to adult healthcare, behavioral interventions for depression, parental anxiety, and distress). This position is specifically within the Advancing Science and Psychological Interventions for Regulating Eating (ASPIRE) lab under the direction of Stephanie Manasse, PhD.</p> <p>This position is based at Nemours Children's Hospital - Delaware in Wilmington.</p> <p>The Research Interventionist will be responsible for delivering manualized interventions (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, lifestyle modification) for NIH-funded intervention trials testing novel treatments for adolescent and adult eating disorders and obesity. Essential Research Interventionist duties include delivering manualized interventions to a high degree of fidelity, attending and participating in clinical supervision, interacting with participants, collecting and recording study data, and completing all required clinical documentation.</p> <p>If desired, the Research Interventionist will have the opportunity to provide input into treatment manuals, and participate in creating scientific products such as conference presentations and manuscripts.</p> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Doctoral degree in clinical psychology. A master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, social work, or similar field with several years of experience delivering manualized interventions will be considered.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have formal training and experience delivering cognitive-behavioral interventions.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to effectively use Microsoft computer software.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with delivering manualized interventions with eating disorder populations is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Clinical licensure (e.g., licensed psychologist, licensed professional counselor) is preferred.</p> </li></ul>
