As an industry leader, we've built an innovative and collaborative environment where diversity is celebrated, ideas are valued, and personal and professional growth never stops.</p> <p>As a Field Service Representative Driver, you'll play a vital role in our mission by directly contributing to the safety and well-being of our customers' employees.</p> <p>Join us in making a difference-because at Magid, safety starts with you!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Drive and operate a box truck </li><li>Service assigned customer locations according to a defined weekly route </li><li>Fill and maintain vending machines and/or safety cabinets </li><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic mechanical and technical vending machine issues </li><li>Provide on-site technical support and customer support </li><li>Monitor inventory stocking levels including ordering and replenishment as needed </li><li>Maintain courteous and professional behavior and appearance </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts </li><li>Resolve customer problems promptly and accurately in a manner that provides the best customer experience </li><li>Efficiently fulfill replenishment orders via foot or forklift utilizing RF scanners for picking and staging at Magid distribution center </li><li>Follow all Magid company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets </li><li>Comply with the safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided </li><li>Ensure accuracy and functionality of all activities related to Vending Solutions </li><li>Follow designated route as defined by weekly schedule </li><li>Document and follow standard operating procedures at customer locations to provide direction for back-up resources to ensure continuity of service </li><li>Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process improvement, and cycle time with Magid VendSupport </li><li>Collaborate with Field Supervisor, VendSupport, and Field Sales </li><li>Work flexible hours, including overtime, as required </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to manage and maintain technical equipment </li><li>Ability to resolve basic mechanical and software issues </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high energy </li><li>Familiar with using mobile tools and applications </li><li>Demonstrate effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule </li></ul> <p>Experience/Education Required/Sought:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience driving 18' truck preferred </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent related experience </li><li>1-2 years of successful field service experience; industrial preferred </li><li>Required to use a personal compatible smartphone - Android (version 5.1 or higher) or Apple (version IOS 11.0 or higher) </li><li>Fluent in English </li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age </li><li>Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record </li><li>Strong customer service skills </li><li>Background check and drug screening required </li><li>Must be able to work overtime as required </li></ul> <p>Work Environment/Physical Requirements/PPE:</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, equipment, and environmental conditions </li><li>Work at customer site is an industrial and/or manufacturing setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, equipment, and environmental conditions </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods </li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds </li><li>Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves and more as applicable </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>You must have:</p> <ul> <li>A reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a personal smartphone. </li><li>Basic computer skills and the ability to handle mechanical tasks confidently. </li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. </li><li>Comfortable working in different manufacturing environment that may be loud, industrial and may have variations in temperature. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility to provide on-call support for emergency maintenance and repairs. </li><li>Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). </li><li>Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training, geographic location, additional qualifications such as licensure or certifications, market factors, and specific responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>Magid offers a variety of benefits to our FSR team members including:?</p> <ul> <li>Bonus plan </li><li>Potential for Company provided Profit Sharing </li><li>Participation in Magid Paid Time Off (PTO) Policy </li></ul>
