<p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Description: Under general supervision provides child support and customer services to the general public. Required Qualifications: Completions of a secondary education. Bachelor's degree preferred. Associates degree in court systems or related discipline may be considered with experience. Prefer 3-5 years of child support case management experience. Consideration will be given for equivalent combinations or training and experience. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 430 pm, travel and OT as required, onsite and remote work as required. Job Duties: Expansive knowledge of the Child Support program, with additional knowledge of programs including IV-A (TANF), Medicaid, and IV-E. Manage and enforce child support cases in accordance with federal, state and local laws and procedures using applicable programs and policies. Perform child support services, which include absent parent location, paternity and support establishment, enforcement of medical and/or support orders and review and adjustment of established support orders. Employ effective communication skills, both written and verbal, whether in-person, on the telephone or electronically. Assist clients in the understanding of available services, processes, and procedures; answer client questions; addressing specific case related problems. Define the specifics of the question or complaint and attempt to resolve matter for the client(s). Enter and retrieve data from appropriate systems. Update case records. Keep accurate records of actions on case narrative and appropriate tracking tools. Analyze, verify and calculate balances, reconciles discrepancies and updates case financial records . Prepare information for presentation in court and/or administrative hearings and appear at said hearings on the behalf of the agency. Assist customers with completion of forms and documents via the telephone and web portal. Ability to multi-task.
