Together, we can achieve greatness.</p> <p>Summary/Objective</p> <p>The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and coordinating activities of front-line employees with ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, issuing and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties:</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Advise employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped </li><li>Advise methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock, and related problems. (Solution based methodology). </li><li>Responsible for the follow up on all directions given from management and ensure 100% completion- related to identified task assigned. </li><li>Coordinate and oversee all warehouse activities (i.e., audit compliance, standards, etc.) to ensure the process workflows and all are met. </li><li>Schedules work for special and periodic inventories. </li><li>Manages & prepares work schedules, determining work procedures and expedite warehouse processes. </li><li>Standardized procedures to improve efficiency. </li><li>Prepares daily production reports </li><li>Maintain positive work culture and resolve grievances. </li><li>Listen to employees' concerns and find solutions while keeping HR and respective departments aware of issues brought to their attention. </li><li>All other duties assigned. </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <p>To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:</p> <p>Strategic and Business</p> <ul> <li>Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Works well in group problem solving situations. </li><li>Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and challenges; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Collaborates with others. </li><li>Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict and resolution. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. </li><li>Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
