<p>Urology Hospitalist Opportunity in West Georgia- Competitive Pay and Work/Life Balance!</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated urologist to join a newly established urology hospitalist program through West Georgia Urology, a Tanner Medical Group practice. This is a unique opportunity to practice urology in a collaborative, hospital-based setting.</p> <p>As part of our team, you will play a key role in the development of the urology hospitalist program: overseeing patient care in the urology urgent care clinic, and managing inpatient urologic duties to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Whether you're looking to focus your career on a hospital-based setting or are seeking a better work-life balance, this role offers the support and structure to thrive.</p> <p>Description:</p> <ul> <li>Will provide coverage at Tanner Medical Center Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center Villa Rica. </li><li>Schedule is 7-on/7-off, biweekly coverage 7am Monday- 7am Monday. </li><li>Inpatient duties will consist of urologic consults, bedside procedures, daily rounding on urology patients, and collaborating with West Georgia Urology partners to delivery seamless care for patients. </li><li>Urology urgent care will be 2-3 hours per day seeing patients for UTIs, blood in urine, acute kidney stone symptoms, inability to urinate, etc. These patients will be referred to West Georgia Urology partner for follow-up. </li><li>24/hr call requirement covering both Carrollton and Villa Rica facilities during "on" week. </li><li>No established patient panel. Adult-only patient population. </li><li>Practice has ambulatory surgery center in Carrollton. </li><li>Da Vinci 5, Xi, and X robot systems. </li><li>EPIC EMR. </li><li>Abridge AI medical scribe assistant. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license and DEA, or ability to obtain one. </li><li>Board eligibility or certification from the American Board of Urology. </li><li>BLS certification. </li><li>Required procedures: general and emergent urology procedures. </li></ul> <p>The Urohospitalist will join Tanner Medical Group, a multi-specialty group of 40 plus practices encompassing approximately 160+ employed providers, serving Carrollton, Villa Rica, Bremen and the surrounding communities.</p>
