<p>Coordinator, Facilities Engineering, Wayfinding/ Compliance</p> <p>Full-time, 40 hours</p> <p>Akron City Campus</p> <p>Summa Health System is recognized as one of the region's top employers by a number of third party organizations, including NorthCoast 99. Develops, coordinates, defines scope and oversees wayfinding projects among internal customers and external vendors and resources. Ensures compliance with environmental health, life safety and building codes. Participates in the Facilities Engineering Supervisor On-Call rotation.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li>Formal Education Required: </li></ol> <p>a. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.</p> <p>b. PMP/CAPM certification preferred.</p> <ol start="2"> <li>Experience & Training Required: </li></ol> <p>a. Three (3) years' experience in a Facility Engineering environment that has provided knowledge of facility engineering projects, internal and external resources, and project scope documents including schedules, budgets, milestones and completion status reports with leadership of cross-functional team status meeting.</p> <ol start="3"> <li>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: </li></ol> <p>a. Working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.</p> <p>b. Ability to interpret mechanical, technical and engineering drawings and plans.</p> <p>c. Leadership Skills: keep the team (internal employees and external vendors) motivated, resolve conflicts, document and communicate decisions agreed upon by the team.</p> <p>d. Math and Budgeting: maintain project budgets - ensuring charges are accurate and credits are awarded when justified.</p> <p>e. Analytical Skills: utilizing various resources to solve problems, analyzing data and making recommendations to the team that affect the project on a regular basis.</p> <p>f. Organizational Skills: detail-focused, identify discrepancies and opportunities for project to be completed effectively and efficiently.</p> <p>g. Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lawson, Maximo, Corel & Gerber/Omega applications</p> <p>h. Communication Skills: verbal and written communication to assist with information dissemination within the department, assist and resolve internal and external customer requests and concerns</p> <p>i. Exhibits flexible coordination attributes on a per project basis with the ability to work independently or oversee a team</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Level of Physical Demands: </li></ol> <p>a. Ability to travel from location to location throughout the workday. (25% Travel -Summa Health facilities, vendor locations)</p> <p>b. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range.
