<p>Job Summary</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Inbound Team Lead maintains in-depth knowledge of our products and operating procedures and stays in regular contact with the shift manager and peers in each department to meet daily goals. This position identifies operating issues and takes corrective action as needed; this includes receiving and providing clear directions and serving as a role model of our culture to effectively communicate with employees and drive engagement.</p> <p>SHIFT SCHEDULE</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM </li><li>Starting wage is $23.00/hr and a potential of up to $0.88 in raises every 6 months </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties below to a high standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.?</p> <p>Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Assist leadership in overseeing daily operations in the department to ensure a high level of productivity and quality while achieving operating goals; promote team adherence to Company policies and procedures </li><li>Work closely with leadership to monitor and provide consistent feedback to employees on individual and team performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis </li><li>In collaboration with leadership, conduct daily team meetings to update employees on work expectations, task assignments, best practices and operating expectations </li><li>Clearly communicate team goals, resolve problems as they arise, and answer any related questions </li><li>Assist with developing a cross-trained team that can flex into other departments or jobs as needed </li><li>Maintain a high level of communication with Inbound teams and management daily; partner with other team leads to flex hours where necessary </li><li>Serve as a resource for all employees regarding job tasks, company policies and procedures and warehouse initiatives </li><li>Report personnel issues to the department leadership to enable timely resolutions </li></ul> <p>Process</p> <ul> <li>Ensure a high level of accuracy on inbound Purchase Orders and verify that all PO's are received in our internal system correctly; maintain the inbound error log to track and ensure accountability </li><li>Resolve any PO issues that may arise; verifying overaged and shortages prior to receipt closure </li><li>Organize the dock based on available space, directing drivers to where and when they can be unloaded </li><li>Manage the department's workflow daily, working with leadership to adjust to labor availability as needed. </li><li>Conduct inspections within the inbound department to ensure a high degree of accuracy and quality </li><li>Identify roadblocks/challenges that the team communicates and work internally and with other departments to remove them </li><li>Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals </li><li>Abide by all company and warehouse policies </li><li>Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day. </li><li>Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. </li><li>Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. </li><li>Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching. </li><li>Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs. </li></ul> <p>Working Environment</p> <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving/inventory experience preferred but not required </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>This role does not require a degree.
