Main duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Cleaning classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, gyms, bathrooms, offices, and other rooms within a school or office site. </li><li>Cleaning floors including mopping and vacuuming. </li><li>Emptying trash </li><li>Performing set ups which may include moving furniture, chairs, tables, and other large items </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility to work at multiple sites </li><li>Ability to accept work with short notice </li><li>Ability to lift at least 50 pounds </li><li>Ability to be standing/walking for an 8 hour shift </li><li>Ability to push/pull garbage cans, carts, vacuums, brooms, etc </li></ul> <p>Criminal Background Check as required by Illinois School Code required</p> <p>Statement of Good Health/Free from Communicable Diseases as required by Illinois School Code</p> <p>Working Environment and Physical Requirements:</p> <p>The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting of at least 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50%walking, and 50% standing. The job is performed under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness and with use of chemicals, light equipment, and hand tools.
