<p>Department: General Product</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>We are immediately hiring an Associate Director, Product Management for Buyer Solutions with programmatic advertising experience to join our growing team in Redwood City or New York on a hybrid schedule.</p> <p>The Director is responsible for driving and implementing product strategy for our buy-side and private marketplace initiatives within our programmatic media marketplace. We are looking for an individual passionate about innovation and problem solving.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>In this role, you will balance ongoing new feature development with modernization of our existing technology to support our next-gen platform for media buyers and sellers. The ideal candidate has experience managing product delivery for platforms with dependencies across multiple teams.</p> <p>You'll be responsible for creating the vision, strategy, design, and execution of your area in our product portfolio:</p> <ul> <li>Support all aspects of product success, including identifying product opportunities, gathering requirements, defining specifications and key metrics, and working closely with engineering, commercial teams, and product marketing to ensure goals are met </li><li>Be the authority on how buyers transact and use our private marketplace platform by collecting and synthesize feedback from our clients and internal teams </li><li>Perform competitive analysis and use insights gained to drive prioritization decisions </li><li>Support and communicate a clear product roadmap to clients, internal teams, and company executives </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to determine feature prioritization and manage the development backlog </li></ul> <p>We'd Love for You to Have:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of product management experience - preferably in Ad Tech </li><li>Recent experience working with DSPs, SSPs or other programmatic platforms within the digital media space spanning web, mobile, and connected TV </li><li>Familiarity with the OpenRTB protocol and more general technical concepts such as APIs </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership track record </li><li>Fast learner, curious problem solver, and team player </li><li>Exceptional client communication and interaction skills, including the ability to communicate with client and business teams to gather and validate requirements. </li><li>Experience working in media trading desks and agencies is a plus </li></ul> <p>Expected Travel: 10% (domestic and international)</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Return to Office: PubMatic employees throughout the globe have returned to our offices via a hybrid work schedule (3 days "in office" and 2 days "working remotely") that is intended to maximize collaboration, innovation, and productivity among teams and across functions.</p> <p>Benefits: Our benefits package includes the best of what leading organizations provide, including paid leave programs and holidays, healthcare, dental and vision plans, traditional and Roth 401(k), pre-tax commuter benefits, physical and financial wellness programs, reimbursement for mobile, discretionary time off in the US, fully stocked pantries, as well as in-office catered lunches 5 days per week.</p> <p>Diversity and Inclusion: PubMatic is proud to be an equal opportunity employer; we don't just value diversity, we promote and celebrate it. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
