This role executes steps to move process from development to production; driving the hand off process, post deployment support, and problem solving to finish the industrialization of a process into full production. Focus is on meeting the needs of the production teams as internal customers.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li>Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute team demands and roadmap initiatives </li><li>Executes hand offs for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, new process introductions, and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, fixturing, programming, quality plan, and run-off of initial production sets </li><li>Execute hands-on development of new products and processes enabling a successful hand-off to the production team </li><li>Supports project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and problem solving </li><li>Support problem solving post deployment </li><li>Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste </li><li>Engineering, standardizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes </li><li>Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness </li><li>Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development </li><li>Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with wider team on breakthrough initiatives </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent manufacturing or process development experience </li><li>Minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment </li><li>Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment </li><li>This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
