<p>Certification: Elementary Education or Math Specific Curriculum</p> <p>Grade Level: 2-5</p> <p>Building: Cleveland Primary School and Intermediate School</p> <p>Administrators: Dr. Sherri Pankhurst, Mrs. Sloan, and Mr. McKinney</p> <p>Cleveland Public Schools is seeking an innovative and qualified instructional leader to join our family as our Elementary Math Intervention Coordinator. We are a school that prides itself on creating opportunities and giving students hope through education.</p> <p>Job Description and Skills Needed</p> <p>Assess student mathematical skills and identify areas of need to improve student achievement and growth using multiple data sources, including universal screenings, diagnostics, and classroom performance</p> <p>(MAPA requires screening students multiple times per year to identify deficiencies)</p> <p>Demonstrate knowledge of research-based mathematics instruction and intervention practices, including conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and problem-solving development</p> <p>(Core components emphasized in the Math Achievement and Proficiency Act)</p> <p>Support the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for mathematics, including Tier II and Tier III interventions</p> <p>Assist in the administration and analysis of state-approved universal math screeners given at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year</p> <p>Collaborate with teachers and administration to develop and monitor Individualized Math Intervention Plans (IMIP) for students not meeting grade-level expectations Assist teachers in using screening, diagnostic, and progress-monitoring data to deliver targeted, research-based math interventions aligned to individual student needs</p> <p>Support identification and intervention planning for students exhibiting characteristics of dyscalculia, including coordinating appropriate supports and referrals</p> <p>(MAPA includes screening and supports for math-related learning difficulties)</p> <p>Provide ongoing progress monitoring systems to track student growth and adjust interventions as needed</p> <p>Consult frequently with administration and instructional staff regarding mathematics instruction, data analysis, and student achievement</p> <p>Assist teachers and instructional staff in developing effective math strategies through modeling lessons, observations, coaching, and feedback</p> <p>Participate in and help lead student data meetings, guiding decision-making and strengthening intervention systems</p> <p>Provide professional development and training to staff on dyscalculia, evidence-based math instructional practices and use of student data</p> <p>Coordinate family communication related to student math performance, intervention plans, and progress</p> <p>(Parent notification is a requirement under the law)</p> <p>Stay current on all updates, requirements, and guidance related to the Oklahoma Math Achievement and Proficiency Act</p> <p>Cleveland is a wonderful lake community located 35 minutes from both downtown Tulsa and Stillwater.
