Must be able to recognize EKG components, interpret basic arrhythmias and discern ST-segment changes and QT prolongation. Identify actionable audio and visual alarms. Effectively articulate age-specific changes of EKG, RR, and pulse oximeter readings to RNs and/or physicians in a timely manner. Document and perform hand-off report census reconciliation, patient's EKG activities, and equipment inventory. Maintain the Equipment Malfunction Log.
