Maintain logs of referrals to service providers, and other counseling related activities </li><li>Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators on behalf of students' welfare, providing necessary resources and services </li><li>Provide academic counseling </li><li>Gather and communicate information regarding high school programs, graduation requirements, tests, and results, career and postsecondary educational opportunities </li><li>Be an example of exemplary adult behavior for students. Project a genuine care and concern for all students. </li><li>Other duties assigned by the principal and or district supervisor </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
