<p>Overview</p> <p>The Regional Director of Business Development is responsible for managing, training, planning, organizing, and promoting public and professional awareness of Hospice while increasing census and territory growth, in our Independence, Olathe, and Columbia markets. Frequent travel and experience with multi-site sales management is required.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Travel to regional sites as required. </li><li>Develop and communicate strategies that promote awareness of the hospice philosophy to the sales team for their respective accounts. </li><li>Maintain coverage in all sales territories with qualified Hospice Consultants. </li><li>Identify and open up new account opportunities for sales team development. </li><li>Conduct meaningful and competitive analysis. </li><li>Identify and recruit qualified Medical Directors to support programs. </li><li>Train, develop and ride with Hospice Consultants. </li><li>Identify partners for contract negotiation. </li><li>Attain and/or exceed goals consistently. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of patient/family visits. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication with sales leadership team. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree preferred. </li><li>Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Progressive sales experience in the health care industry - hospice sales background preferred. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate ownership of defined region including sales representatives and top accounts. </li><li>Ability to forecast needs and set priorities. </li><li>Experience with sales training. </li><li>Ability to perform timely completion of all required reports. </li><li>Competent organizational skills. </li><li>Working knowledge and practical application experience with general office computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Excel), internet, email and desktop navigation. </li><li>Must be a highly ethical, self-motivated team player </li></ul> <p>Employee Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>5 Weeks of Paid Time off </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Company Cell Phone OR Monthly Cell Phone Stipend </li><li>Mileage Reimbursement </li><li>Health/Medical Benefits </li><li>Dental Benefits (Delta Dental) </li><li>Vision Benefits (VSP Vision) </li><li>Flexible Spending Account "FSA" </li><li>Employer Paid Life and AD&D </li><li>Education Fund </li><li>Voluntary Benefits: </li><li>Accident Insurance </li><li>Critical Illness </li><li>Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance </li><li>Voluntary Short Term Disability </li><li>401k </li></ul>
