<p>BUS DRIVER/CUSTODIAN Status: Non-Exempt / Hourly</p> <p>"This position is considered Seasonal Full-Time, with an approximate start date in April and running through December, including some downtime during the off-peak period."</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)</p> <ul> <li>Provide school bus transportation to children, parents, and other passengers as assigned </li><li>Knowledge of federal, state, local, and other applicable traffic and safety laws, regulations, ordinances, and codes </li><li>Ability to operate and inspect a school bus </li><li>Ability to comprehend routes, maps, schedules, safety & maintenance manuals, work orders, and correspondence </li><li>Prepare, maintain and/or submit written reports, inspections, repair/work orders and maintenance logs </li><li>Perform bus safety, pre/post-trip, and evacuation drills </li><li>Provide training and guidance to center staff and volunteers </li><li>Report maintenance and repair issues to supervisor </li><li>Ability to operate custodial equipment </li><li>Clean and maintain custodial and grounds equipment and supplies </li><li>Perform cleaning and minor maintenance and repair on center facilities, grounds and playground equipment </li><li>Perform cleaning and minor maintenance on busses </li><li>Assist in moving and setting up furniture and equipment </li><li>Set up/clean up after special events </li><li>Supervise Bus Monitor(s) </li><li>Maintain grounds: pick up litter and trash, mow grass, weed planting areas, and irrigate </li><li>Perform snow removal duties </li><li>Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records </li><li>Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Benefits</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Clean driving record which meets Idaho Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements </li><li>The minimum age requirement for driving a school bus is 25 years. </li><li>Must pass a DOT physical examination </li><li>Must pass required background checks, including state day care clearance </li><li>Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis </li><li>Must provide proof of auto insurance </li><li>Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger & school bus endorsement </li><li>One - three months' experience and/or training in transportation </li><li>Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting </li></ul> <p>Required Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; use hands to operate a motor vehicle, manual and powered tools, and equipment; to reach with hands and arms; to climb or balance; and smell </li><li>The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Exposed to moving mechanical parts, power tools and equipment, fumes, and airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock; works in high places and is exposed to outside weather conditions; exposed to hazards of traffic; The noise level is usually moderate</p> <p>BENEFITS'</p> <p>"CCI is a strong, non-profit agency to work with.
