<p>Job#: 3031412</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Position: Associate Motion Engineer (Testing)</p> <p>Location: Mequon, WI (Onsite)</p> <p>24+ month project</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of experience with electrical control systems, programming and/or motion is needed </li><li>Strong programming skills using either Python or Ladder Logix </li><li>Engineering mindset to test both hardware and software </li><li>Able to apply knowledge of test methodologies </li><li>Motion or Robotics Experience </li><li>Exposure to AI Fundamentals. </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine system testing utilizing existing test collateral and test cases. Responsible for reporting any issues identified and documenting test results for follow-up. </li><li>Ability to rewrite old software using Python </li><li>Able to work onsite </li><li>Responsible for working with the development team to characterize any issues found. </li><li>Develops new test collateral - mostly control system applications - and test cases in response to new product or system requirements </li><li>Evaluates and researches possible solutions by seeking input from subject matter experts to ensure fact-based recommendations and decisions are being made during all phases of product development. </li><li>Establishes a timeline for assigned tasks/projects and is able to track and report progress as well as meet deadlines. </li><li>Able to utilize test tools and methods to ensure full system test coverage is attained. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineering) or Equivalent Engineering Degree </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Experience in Automation Applications Engineering work, Technical Support, System Integration or Field Service work </li><li>Proven software skills in scripting (preferable Python, SQL, VB) </li><li>Familiarity with Webservice and Apis is a plus </li><li>A concentration in software/firmware or equivalent knowledge in the areas of software/firmware engineering (software requirements analysis, software design, software testing) is desired </li><li>Familiarity with Wireshark, JIRA, and iTRAK etc. is a plus </li></ul> <p>Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
