<p>Your job is more than a job.</p> <p>Responsible for developing and implementing a specialized exercise program for clients. Ensures the fitness program meets the needs of the client and may include elements such as physical fitness, nutrition, cardiovascular training, and weight training. Monitors client on a consistent basis to ensure they are exercising safely and effectively. Maintains cleanliness and safety of all fitness areas; including, but not limited to, fitness equipment and group exercise equipment. Serves as positive role model for health and wellness.</p> <p>Availability: Weekdays</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Implements protocols for fitness testing/assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Implements exercise prescription following approved guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead individual or group personal training and group fitness sessions safely and effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain appropriate documentation and paperwork of all personal training sessions and clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain cleanliness and safety of fitness environment/equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Implements appropriate Quality Assurance Standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies and implements improvement processes utilizing Accelerated Improvement Process (AIP) and/or Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA).</p> </li><li> <p>Supports and encourages others to support, the Vision, Mission, and Service Statement of EJGH.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates competence and knowledge in awareness and care of adults and older adults.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education, Experience & Training</p> <ul> <li> <p>ACSM Personal Trainer, ACSM Health/Fitness Instructor, ACE, NASM or similar certification required.</p> </li><li> <p>Health/Wellness degree highly preferred, as well as extensive knowledge of Health/Wellness.</p> </li><li> <p>CPR/AED and First Aid certifications highly preferred, will be required within 30 days of hire.</p> </li><li> <p>2 years' experience in health/wellness center strongly preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>WORK SHIFT:</p> <p>Variable Hours (United States of America)</p> <p>LCMC Health is a community.</p> <p>Our people make health happen.
