<p>Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead installation/deployments of BG technology on customer sites from installation to System Engineering hand-off </li><li>Ensure compliance to building and safety codes by all federal, state, and/or local regulations </li><li>Manage installation contractors and work to resolve deployment issues </li><li>Manage BG engineers while on site that are tasked with installation efforts </li><li>Manage customer relationship on-site and coordinate site level tasks with local building management </li><li>Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to meet installation criteria </li><li>Drive feedback and improvement efforts from site to System Engineering teams </li><li>Provide support to the active project to drive progress and prevent or mitigate stoppages or downtime </li><li>Responsible for tracking and achieving project operational and budgetary metrics </li><li>Develop standardization processes and technical solutions to drive down installation time and cost </li><li>Oversee customer training and handoff tasks to guarantee a smooth integration of BG's technology in existing operations </li></ul> <p>Experience and Education Required</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or similar technical field </li><li>5+ years of experience in construction or installation management </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in construction or installation management </li><li>Project management experience </li><li>Robotics/industrial automation/manufacturing experience </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills Required</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience managing hardware installations and commissioning of industrial equipment </li><li>Experience leading teams of engineers </li><li>Experience managing construction contractors </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of safety standards </li><li>Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, electrical schematics, or other engineering diagrams </li><li>Confidence and knowledge to convey technical explanations of problems or issues identified during deployment </li><li>Understanding of warehouse management systems, software messaging flows, IT hardware </li><li>Demonstrated experience with customer management and support </li><li>Strong sense of urgency and leadership </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Strong computer skills </li><li>Ability to work with senior levels of management internally and externally at site level </li><li>Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously </li></ul> <p>Preferred (one or more):</p> <ul> <li>High competence in at least one area: mechanical, electrical, or software systems </li><li>Experience with project management software - MS Project, Smartsheets, etc. </li><li>Experience with engineering defect tracking software - JIRA, etc. </li></ul> <p>Travel</p> <ul> <li>Will travel be required?
