EEO/Disabled/Vets</p> <p>Job Description :</p> <p>News Corp is looking for a Project Manager for our Corporate Strategy Team who will be</p> <p>responsible for supporting strategic planning and operations, developing research and analysis</p> <p>for business initiatives, as well as work with senior management across multiple Business Units</p> <p>and Departments to ensure the scope and direction of projects are in line with our business</p> <p>objectives and progressing according to plan. This role will have exposure to all projects that</p> <p>the strategy team oversees with a special emphasis on all of our key global platforms</p> <p>partnerships. This position is a direct result of the growth and broader collaboration the</p> <p>Corporate Strategy Team is spearheading.</p> <p>The Corporate Strategy Team oversees global platform partnerships to expand News Corp's</p> <p>reach and distribution of content across various emerging formats, spearheads the global</p> <p>strategy to accelerate innovation and synergies across News Corp businesses, and provides</p> <p>thought leadership on new and emerging platforms, products and technologies that are</p> <p>applicable to News Corp's global businesses.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>? Work with members of the News Corp HQ Strategy Team to create and maintain the</p> <p>project management and reporting framework for projects and workstreams that are part</p> <p>of our Strategic Initiatives. Specific tasks include helping to determine the prioritization</p> <p>and scope of the various internal and cross-business initiatives, establishing key</p> <p>milestones and ensuring the team is adhering to all timelines</p> <p>? Provide direct support to the Chief Strategy Officer, including responding to CEO</p> <p>requests, preparing executive-level materials, supporting team strategy and budgeting</p> <p>processes, leading and coordinating strategic initiatives across global BUs.</p> <p>? Establish and maintain effective reporting mechanisms as well as draft and monitor KPIs</p> <p>to ensure project status is communicated in an accurate and timely manner. This will</p> <p>include working with Finance to integrate budget into the reporting framework</p> <p>? Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to message objectives, timing and key</p> <p>deliverables initially then continue to ensure projects and initiatives are progressing</p> <p>according to the timeline</p> <p>? Lead preparation for regular reviews of Strategic Initiative workstreams and updates for</p> <p>senior management to report on progress of the programs; this includes drafting</p> <p>agendas, attendee lists, capturing notes and providing summaries with follow up actions</p> <p>? Support Strategy Team with ad hoc projects as directed, including quarterly CEO</p> <p>presentation</p> <p>? Be a self-starter that will take initiative in moving projects forward, flagging any potential</p> <p>risks and identifying areas of opportunity</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>? Project management experience managing all phases of multifaceted strategy projects</p> <p>with proven day-to-day project management proven expertise</p> <p>? Experience in establishing and enforcing effective product / program management</p> <p>strategies, methodologies and processes</p> <p>? Proven ability to plan, organize, and deliver projects in accordance with agreed</p> <p>schedules and budgets across multiple time zones</p> <p>? Fluency in storyboarding and crafting PowerPoint presentations</p> <p>? Comfortable working in Excel</p> <p>? Ability to judiciously set and manage priorities</p> <p>? Previous work experience in digital media and publishing a plus but not required</p> <p>? Highly organized with an ability to juggle multiple projects with varying degrees of</p> <p>completion and priority</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>? Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or related field or equivalent experience</p> <p>? 6+ years of working in consulting, strategy and/or program management with direct</p> <p>experience working with senior management</p> <p>? Excellent written / oral communication, interpersonal and motivational skills</p> <p>? Meticulous attention to detail</p> <p>? Exceptional service orientation and ability to motivate staff in a team-oriented,</p> <p>collaborative environment</p> <p>?
