A Floorcare Technician must ensure he or she follows the company mission statement and values always.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a high standard of excellence. </li><li>Work with efficiency and quality. </li><li>Inspect all areas prior to cleaning for damage and stains. </li><li>Determine washing method based on condition. - cleaning method </li><li>Vacuum loose dirt/debris from items to be cleaned. </li><li>Pre-treat stains according to fiber- surface. </li><li>Walk all assigned buildings or floors to ensure all are ready for occupancy. </li><li>Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure. </li><li>Lift and move furniture as needed. </li><li>Properly use carpet cleaning equipment. </li><li>Maintain carpet cleaning equipment daily. </li><li>Store all chemicals in approved area. </li><li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage closets. </li><li>Maintain and operate company-owned vehicles. </li><li>Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office. </li><li>Demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure duties are completed on time. </li><li>Personal timeliness. Be prompt with all assignments and appointments. </li><li>Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively. </li><li>Perform inventories of supplies and equipment. </li><li>Assist in solving guest complaints promptly. </li><li>Create strong, positive customer relations. </li><li>Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners. </li><li>Knowledgeable of the resort. </li></ul> <p>Experience and Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience </li></ul> <p>18 months of full-time work experience directly related to the role.</p> <ul> <li>Prefer experience with stripping/waxing floors. </li><li>Carpet cleaning experience. </li><li>Must be trained thoroughly before beginning work - mentor (trainer) approval before working alone. </li><li>Must be well-versed on chemicals and their use. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
