The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS cloud computing and will play a crucial role in guiding our DevOps teams on cloud-based architectures. Collaborate with development teams to evaluate needs and provide architectural guidance in using the right patterns and services for solutions. Facilitate the definition of standards and best practices, create reference architectures, all to promote re-usability. Create and maintain current and future state solution architecture diagrams and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders. Prototype cloud solutions, write terraform, and contribute to company-wide shared terraform modules when necessary. Stay current with the latest trends for AWS services, tools, and best practices to help define the organization's roadmap for adoption of new services and technologies.</p> <p>What we are looking for</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant areas. Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across IT and business partners, deep AWS knowledge and experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7+ years' experience in software development and designing and implementing solutions with AWS services including serverless computing and IaC (Terraform). 5+ years' experience as a solutions architect or experience providing cloud architecture guidance and technical direction to developers.
