A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.</p> <p>Together, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.</p> <p>A Day in the Life</p> <p>As an Ambient Field Technician, you'll get hands-on experience collecting data while spending most of their time outdoors in a hardhat rather than in a cubicle</p> <p>The compensation range for this role is $24 to $28/hr., commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.</p> <p>To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in preparation, deployment, testing/sampling of air monitoring activities</p> </li><li> <p>Independently and effectively assemble, operate, and troubleshoot ambient air testing equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure project preparation is complete before going into the field; this includes preparation, cleaning procedures, repair, and calibration</p> </li><li> <p>Practice safety methods and procedures, and report all potential dangers, hazards, or unsafe work practices to the supervisor</p> </li><li> <p>Provide excellent customer service to all clients</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with laboratory, shop, and equipment maintenance</p> </li></ul> <p>Your Expertise and Skills</p> <p>These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to travel up to 50%</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in industrial settings & outdoors</p> </li><li> <p>High School diploma through bachelor's degree</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with proven time management and prioritization skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment and Physical Requirements</p> <p>The physical and environmental requirements below reflect what's typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
