Morgan's Special Equity Business is a complex business, supporting clients' needs in private and public dealings.</p> <p>As a Special Equity Associate within the Trade Support team, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the trade life cycle. This includes account management, resolution of client inquiries, ensuring accurate DTC activity/data, trade monitoring, allocation, and reconciliation. The team ensures timely and accurate settlement of corporate trading programs, including Rule 144, DWACs, Corporate Buy Backs, Restricted Stock, Special Stock Programs and Private Investments. You will perform UAT, Controls, Trade Support and Client Service. There will be extensive client interaction & therefore communication and partnership skills are important.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide Client Account management </li><li>Request payments as needed and liaise closely with the Settlement Team </li><li>Book & Allocate Trades and update Pricing , working closely with Front Office Sales' Teams </li><li>Complete cash and share settlements - DWACS, DRS, FOP, DVP </li><li>Provide fails reconciliation, Corporate Action Monitoring, Position Management </li><li>Participate in Sales & Trading Calls to provide operational subject matter expertise for new deals </li><li>Partner with Product Control on Pricing and New Deal Activity </li><li>Participate in New Business Initiatives, collaborate with Technology and perform UAT </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>4 years experience in Finance Industry </li><li>Proficient in excel </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Equity Settlement Experience </li><li>Middle Office Experience </li><li>VBA, Python </li></ul>
