<p>High School Math: Algebra 1, and Geometry. Minimum qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Ohio high school teaching license </li><li>Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Flexible, resourceful, enthusiastic, and high energy level </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and personal transportation </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Be willing to create engaging instructional activities that go beyond textbook learning </li><li>Have the ability to creatively assist students who are faced with significant personal or learning challenges to increase students' achievement and morale </li><li>Be competent in all areas of Ohio Graduation Assessments </li><li>Be committed to ongoing professional learning and growth </li><li>Be willing to use technology effectively in the classroom </li><li>Be willing and able to team with colleagues and college faculty </li><li>Commit to students and the ultimate goal of graduation </li><li>In collaboration with counselors and teachers, hold parent/student conferences on a quarterly basis </li><li>Maintain accurate data and records to document all activities and services provided </li><li>Analyze quarterly grades, district assessments, and end-of-course data for student progress </li><li>Mentor and follow through with the identified students over a sustained period of time </li><li>Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with students, school personnel, and families </li><li>All other duties as assigned by district administration and/or building principal </li></ul> <p>Please submit the following: letter of interest, resume, and copy of license, BCI/FBI checks, and three letters of recommendation to dgraves@ecacolumbus.com, or mail to: Early College Academy ATTN: Danny Graves 137 E.
