<p>We are seeking a Education Assistant to support students with and without disabilities in a kindergarten classroom. The candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development in both general and specialized setting throughout the school.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the classroom teacher in implementing academic, social, and emotional/behavioral interventions within the general education classroom and other instructional settings (e.g. art, music, physical education, and technology). </li><li>Provide individualized and small-group support to students using instructional activities and strategies developed by the classroom teacher to address diverse learning needs. </li><li>Collect data on students' progress toward their academic, social, and behavioral goals to support ongoing assessment and planning. </li><li>Assist students with personal care needs, as required. </li><li>Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning and promote engagement. </li><li>Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, support personnel, and grade-level teams to ensure consistent and effective support for all students. </li><li>Attend and participate in meetings, Safety Care training, and professional development opportunities as assigned by the building or district administration. </li></ul>
