Join us to be part of a dynamic and impactful global company!</p> <p>Please visit us at www.v2soft.com to know more .</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The Product Engineer - Senior Work as part of a team including engineers, union technicians, and mechanics to troubleshoot and resolve test equipment issues for 7 Emissions Chassis Dynamometer test cells, 5 SHEDs, and other emissions testing equipment. Responsibilities include but not limited to:</p> <p>Perform Quality Control and Calibration activities to satisfy regulatory and internal department requirements, including tracking and documentation.</p> <p>Support new test cell equipment integration to support new regulatory and powertrain testing community requirements.</p> <p>Work on projects to improve test cells efficiency and throughput.</p> <p>Analyze test results and validate tests to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal criteria.</p> <p>The Engineer must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering discipline</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 year of experience in automotive testing, preferably experience with Vehicle or Engine Emissions testing equipment, including chassis dynamometers, analyzers, instrumentation, sampling systems, data acquisition, PLCs, and Particulate Sampling </li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office </li><li>Ability to understand, interpret and analyze data with attention to details </li><li>Must be a team player with ability to work with diverse group of engineers, supervisors, and UAW personnel </li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs and projects simultaneously </li><li>Analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis </li><li>Self-motivated with good communication skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering </li><li>5+ years of experience working in a testing lab with vehicle or engine emissions testing equipment, including dynamometers, analyzers, instrumentation, sampling systems, data acquisition and Particulate Sampling </li><li>Familiar with ETAS INCA </li><li>Experience using HORIBA analyzer bench software </li><li>5+ years of engine test support with an emphasis on test cell instrumentation & facility systems. </li><li>Prior project management training or experience </li></ul> <p>Additional Information / Must Have's:</p> <p>Emissions Hardware Engineer:</p> <p>What 3-5 Must Have's can I share with the suppliers as to what you are looking for?</p> <p>Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering discipline</p> <p>Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs and projects simultaneously</p> <p>Self-motivated with good communication skills</p> <p>Must be a team player with ability to work with diverse group of engineers, supervisors, and UAW personnel</p> <ul> <li>How many years of experience are you looking for (if different than the job description): Same in the job description (2 years) </li></ul> <p>Please choose which location best fits your position:</p> <p>o Onsite - 100%</p> <p>Does this position require driving a Client vehicle?
