<p>Inspector Location: Franklin, MA (onsite)</p> <p>Duration: 6+ month contract</p> <p>Rate: $32 an hour W2</p> <p>Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection of precision machine components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and cable & harness assemblies to ensure they meet stringent geometric tolerances, industry standards, and customer specifications. The inspector should be proficient in using precision measurement tools and familiar with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements. Inspect PCBs (bare and assembled) according to IPC-A-610 standards. Inspect cable and harness assemblies in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and various go/no-go gauges. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection of machined parts and/or electronic assemblies. Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools. Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) principles. Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610 for PCBs and IPC/WHMA-A-620 for wire harnesses); certification is a plus.
