<p>Overview</p> <p>Design, monitor, and supervise athletic/recreational programs.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintains equipment and supplies. </li><li>Supervises and makes arrangements for the supervision of scheduled events. </li><li>Supervises athletic staff as designated by the Site Administrator. </li><li>Publicizes and recruits for athletic/recreational events. </li><li>Represents Community Centers at/during events/meetings. </li><li>Transports participants to and from events. </li><li>Negotiates agreements on gym usage and schedules gym activities. </li><li>Performs other related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Entrance Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Two (2) years of experience with public recreation administration and the operation of planned recreational and athletic programs are required. </li><li>Familiarity with a broad range of recreation and athletic programs. </li><li>Ability to plan, assist, and supervise staff. </li><li>Ability to communicate and work with a broad range of people. </li><li>Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job. </li><li>Good communication skills. </li><li>Experience in coordinating community recreational programs. </li><li>Must have and maintain a current Massachusetts Driver's License. </li><li>Must be able to work weekends and evenings. </li></ul> <p>C.O.R.I check required</p> <p>S.O.R.I check required</p> <p>BOSTON RESIDENCY REQUIRED</p> <p>Terms:</p> <p>Union/Salary Plan/Grade: SEIU/CC-7</p> <p>Hours per week: 35</p>
