<p>Job Description:</p> <p>To provide repair and maintenance services to all University vehicles and equipment as required.</p> <p>Emergency</p> <ul> <li>Designated as emergency personnel staff. </li></ul> <p>Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine to highly complex repair and maintenance services to all University vehicles and equipment. </li></ul> <p>Train</p> <ul> <li>May train or provide lead instructional oversight Mechanical/Maintenance person work. </li></ul> <p>This is a full-time (40-hour) Facilities Management Union position. Monday-Friday 7:00AM- 3:30PM</p> <p>$500 signing bonus after a 4-month probationary period is completed</p> <p>Competitive salary and excellent benefits package including health, dental, 15 paid holidays, tuition benefits, and a generous 403(b) match</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Official State Vehicle Inspector certification, ten (10) years of documented experience across the span of vehicular repair and maintenances </li><li>Must also demonstrate to the reasonable satisfaction of management, the ability to provide expert guidance, direction and remediation to the Mechanic II position. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>American Service Excellence Certified is highly preferred. </li></ul> <p>At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Roger Williams University is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and com-mitted to a diverse workforce.
