<p>Employee Type: Regular Required: BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering discipline and 0-3 years experience required. Proficiency with Visio or equivalent drawing tools Proficiency with Excel and Visual Basic Working knowledge of server and switch hardware. Working knowledge of thin clients/zero clients Working knowledge of fiber optic communication types and compatibilities Need to have the ability to obtain and maintain, at minimum, a Secret Level Security Clearance. Active Secret Security Clearance is a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.) Design new rack-level computing systems for Surface Navy, including compute, network, storage, and display systems. Design documents, including wiring diagrams port allocations and bills of material. Provide alternatives for items in deployed systems that are no longer procurable. Apply technology roadmaps to tactical computing equipment to aid customer in defining path forward. Provide feedback on fiber optic cable plants. Perform trade studies and analysis of alternatives for equipment upgrades of tactical computing systems. Provide summaries of roadmaps for Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, networking, and storage. Working knowledge of Aegis Combat/Weapon Systems. Working knowledge of Intel, AMD, and network technology roadmaps.</p>
