<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Peraton's Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Systems/Sys Admin Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile scrum team and will be responsible for integrating and troubleshooting deployed systems.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement </li><li>Significant experience administering Linux or other UNIX-based systems. </li><li>Experience working with Alpine or other container-based operating environments. </li><li>Skilled in working with DevOps or DevSecOps teams to deploy and troubleshoot systems </li><li>Experience creating and maintaining shell scripts, including Python and Bash </li><li>Managing SSH access and security policies across a hybrid environment. </li><li>TS/SCI with current poly </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user and systems administrator </li></ul> <p>Peraton Overview</p> <p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
