<p>Job Description:</p> <p>JOB TITLE: .4 FTE ACTIVITIES SECRETARY-Wilton High School</p> <p>JOB PURPOSE: Support special activities at Wilton High School by effectively managing activities and facilities calendars, maintaining the Activity Fund, and overseeing all bookkeeping related to the Fund</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li><li>Post-secondary training/education in related area of one year secretarial experience </li><li>Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relations, scheduling, computer capabilities, and bookkeeping </li><li>Well organized </li><li>Adaptability, flexibility, positive attitude </li><li>Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents and advisors </li><li>Some familiarity with student activities </li><li>Such additions and alternatives to above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptable </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITY/ACCOUNTABILITY: Responsible for quality and quantity of own work as assigned by administrator</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Manages high school Activities Fund, including daily bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations for WPS business office.</p> <p>Handles all inquiries regarding facilities reservations. Records and publicizes building use schedule and calendar.</p> <p>Manages and maintains records for clubs and activities.</p> <p>Provides assistance in main office functions as necessary.</p> <p>Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as expected of certified teachers.</p> <p>Perform other related duties as required or requested by supervisor.</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Normal office physical demands; ability to work in busy front office environment; ability to work at desk for long periods of time often in a sedentary position; ability to file required documents in a timely and organized fashion.</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 183 day position</p> <p>EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the employee's immediate supervisor and/or administrator in accordance with agreement between the Wilton Board of Education and UPSEU</p>
