<p>Winchester Public Schools is seeking a certified EL (ML) Teacher. The ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and families </li><li>The ability to collect and interpret data for instructional purposes </li><li>Excellent organizational skills </li><li>The ability to meet deadlines </li><li>Develop and implement English language development lesson plans aligned to student proficiency levels </li><li>Participate in professional development trainings and program development projects </li><li>Work closely with classroom teachers to design curriculum and lessons </li><li>Preference to candidates with graduate work in the field of ESL or Applied Linguistics </li><li>Experience working with diverse cultural and linguistic populations </li><li>Experience in various English Language service models </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Graduate Degree in ESL, Applied Linguistics, or Language Literacy, and Culture</p> <p>Knowledge of additional language other than English</p> <p>Familiarity with WIDA standards</p> <p>ACCESS administration and/or familiarity with WIDA assessments</p> <p>Familiarity and/or experience working with a wide range of grade level students at differentiated proficiency levels</p> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <p>Massachusetts License in English as a Second Language (ESL)</p> <p>Will consider applicants who have applied and are awaiting certification</p>
