Coordinates unit management activities in conjunction with manager/director. Facilitates unit staff development in collaboration with manager/director. Carries out the day-to-day operation plan of the unit under the direction of the manager/director. Serves as a resource to other health team members on the assigned unit. Works collaboratively with other departments to facilitate cost effective health care. The patients to be served may include: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Assumes patient care assignment based on unit needs.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. BSN preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>One year experience as registered nurse (acute) </li></ul> <p>License(s)/Certification(s):</p> <ul> <li>Current Iowa license as a registered nurse. </li></ul>
