The Field Engineer will initially support the Estimating Team in the Charlotte, NC office and then transfer to a site.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Handles both office and field responsibilities to meet the project requirements, including implementation of scheduled work and tracking data. </li><li>Assists in the scheduling and planning of project activities. </li><li>Prepares cost and time estimates to aid in meeting budget. </li><li>Performs take-offs. </li><li>Creates submittals. </li><li>Assists with survey activities. </li><li>Tracks job quantities and costs during project activities. </li><li>Identifies conflicts between design plans and onsite conditions. </li><li>Coordinates with third party utility providers to ensure all utilities are identified and located prior to work execution. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
