<p>Sales Associate</p> <p>Company: Storr Office Environments</p> <p>Location: Raleigh, NC 27617</p> <p>Start Your Sales Career with Storr</p> <p>The Sales Associate role is an entry point into a full-time sales career at Storr. This is a structured training position designed to prepare you to become a Sales Executive within one of our vertical markets.</p> <p>Over a 12-18 month period, you'll work closely with our sales team, support day-to-day sales activities, manage smaller opportunities, and build the product knowledge and selling skills needed to succeed as an Account Manager.</p> <p>If you're motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow into a consultative sales role, this is a strong opportunity to build a long-term career.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the Sales team in daily activities and client engagement</p> </li><li> <p>Meet with walk-in and call-in customers to understand their needs</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare quotes for opportunities under $10,000 and follow up consistently</p> </li><li> <p>Forward larger opportunities to Account Managers</p> </li><li> <p>Enter and track sales activity in CRM</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate order fulfillment for sales booked under your name</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Account Managers with product research, site visits, proposals, presentations, and bid responses</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain an organized and professional showroom environment</p> </li><li> <p>Complete assigned training and development goals</p> </li><li> <p>Achieve quarterly sales and activity targets</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain high customer satisfaction and accuracy standards</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Learn</p> <ul> <li> <p>The contract furniture industry and Storr's products and services</p> </li><li> <p>Consultative selling skills</p> </li><li> <p>Internal systems and sales processes</p> </li><li> <p>How to manage accounts and grow client relationships</p> </li></ul> <p>Successful candidates will transition into a Sales Executive or Account Manager role within 1-2 years.</p> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li> <p>2-4 year degree preferred (Sales, Marketing, Interior Design, Communications, or related field)</p> </li><li> <p>Prior sales experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Organized with strong follow-through</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working with numbers, pricing, and discounts</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in a Windows-based computer environment</p> </li><li> <p>Team-oriented with leadership potential</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem-solving ability and initiative</p> </li></ul> <p>If you're looking for a clear path into professional sales and want hands-on experience with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.</p>
