Together with DocGo's integrated Ambulnz medical transport services, DocGo is bridging the gap between physical and virtual care.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Emergency Call Intake: Receive and document emergency/non-emergency calls, gathering vital information.</p> </li><li> <p>Resource Coordination: Assess call severity and dispatch the appropriate medical unit.</p> </li><li> <p>Dispatch Communication: Relay critical information to EMS teams, including location and emergency details.</p> </li><li> <p>Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation using CAD systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Multitasking: Manage multiple incidents and coordinate resources effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor Vehicle Status: Track EMS unit locations and update response statuses.</p> </li><li> <p>Documentation and Reporting: Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records for analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance: Follow established dispatch protocols and regulatory guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Other tasks as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED.</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Emergency Medical Technician</p> </li><li> <p>NIMS IS 100, 200, 700, 800</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>2-3 years of transportation dispatch experience (EMS dispatch preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with callers, EMS personnel, and stakeholders in high-pressure situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Active Listening: Ability to attentively gather and interpret crucial information.</p> </li><li> <p>Medical Knowledge: Basic understanding of medical terminology and emergency procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Geographic Familiarity: Knowledge of local geography and address systems for precise location guidance.</p> </li><li> <p>Stress Management: Ability to stay calm and professional in fast-paced, time-sensitive scenarios.</p> </li><li> <p>Computer Proficiency: Experience with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and mapping software.</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to Detail: Precision in recording and following protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Multi-tasking Skills: Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.</p> </li><li> <p>Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills with dispatchers, EMS personnel, and other stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</p> </li></ul> <p>EEO/AAP Statement: DocGo is an equal opportunity employer.
