Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Ingredient Operator</p> <p>Starting rate: $27.95 per hour</p> <p>The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work:</p> <ul> <li>B Shift - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Friday 6:00pm-6:00am </li><li>Shift premium - $0.50 per hour </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>In the Ingredient Operator role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Receive and unload bulk ingredients from rail cars and trucks </li><li>Perform accurate, timely tests on incoming ingredients to ensure quality assurance and food safety </li><li>Operate grinding and mixing equipment </li><li>Maintain equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime </li><li>Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The successful candidate (s) for this role will have the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Possess a high school diploma or a GED </li><li>Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy </li><li>Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>Ability and willingness to communicate with cross functional teams </li><li>Ability to comply with captive uniform and safety shoe policy </li><li>Ability to complete routine computer-based trainings </li><li>Experience in food manufacturing preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands (with or without reasonable accommodation):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lift:</p> </li><li> <p>Floor to Knuckle 55 lbs. occasionally</p> </li><li> <p>12" from floor to Knuckle 55 lbs. occasionally</p> </li><li> <p>Push/Pull:</p> </li><li> <p>Push (static force) 50 lbs. occasionally</p> </li><li> <p>Pull (static force) 50 lbs. occasionally</p> </li></ul>
