Technical areas of interest include the broad area of thermal sciences and fluid mechanics. Salary and rank commensurate with experience and qualifications; University System of Maryland benefits package included.</p> <p>Responsibilities: Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching undergraduate thermal science and fluid mechanics courses and related engineering courses, mentoring students, and developing undergraduate-level research projects. Duties will include student advising, professional development activities, and service to the Department, College, and Community.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, ability to teach thermal science and related engineering courses.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications: Strong background and experience in Mechanical Engineering and related discipline course teaching. Proven experience and engagement in engineering education.
