<p>Keep our operations running at peak performance!</p> <p>Perform building and equipment maintenance, including preventive care of tooling used in aircraft component repair. Join the team!</p> <p>Tasks</p> <p>Your main tasks include, among others:</p> <ul> <li>Perform or coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, in fields like electric, HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry and door locking/security systems with management and employees as necessary </li><li>Assist Engineering in installation and repair of test equipment and tooling as needed </li><li>Coordinate and manage facility projects related to shop or Engineering requirements </li><li>Move and relocate office furniture </li><li>Work independently on processes to manage preventive maintenance for facility equipment </li><li>Manage on-site vendor support </li><li>Responsible for identifying cost savings related to preventive maintenance and maintenance services </li><li>All other duties as assigned or required </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>The ideal Facility Maintenance Technician must fulfill the following requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED required </li><li>3+ years of relevant work experience that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required </li><li>Experience with facility maintenance and installation and maintenance of HVAC equipment required </li><li>Forklift driving experience desirable </li><li>Fluency in English language required </li><li>Knowledge of electrical systems (buildings) required </li><li>MS Office skills as user </li><li>Excellent problem solving </li><li>Excellent quality consciousness </li><li>Excellent safety and security </li><li>Excellent oral communication </li><li>Excellent flexibility </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license </li><li>Shift work / overtime </li><li>Manage constant time pressure </li><li>Manage high stress levels </li><li>Lift up to 70 lbs </li><li>Outdoor weather conditions </li><li>Noise pollution </li><li>Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S. </li><li>CV/Resume required </li><li>Company will not provide relocation assistance </li></ul> <p>About Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.</p> <p>Lufthansa Technik is the worldwide leading independent provider of maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft.
