<p>Job Title: SchedulerJob Description</p> <p>Develop schedules for large or multiple smaller construction projects with complex scheduling activities. Revise and review project schedules with the project team and monitor and track progress against defined schedules.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop a thorough understanding of work breakdown structure and its importance for large or multiple smaller construction projects. </li><li>Reference 'Scheduling Playbook' to adhere to company and scheduling policies, practices, procedures, and activities. </li><li>Develop relationships with project stakeholders to communicate the overall project plan and support project performance. </li><li>Collaborate with the project team to confirm Contract Item List (CIL), develop Required On Job (ROJ) dates, and review Procurement Schedule to track subcontractor commitments. </li><li>Develop project schedules based on Critical Path Method (CPM) logic-generated baseline schedules using scheduling software. </li><li>Review and recommend decisions related to performance of work regarding scheduling, delivery, logistics, and Trade staffing levels. </li><li>Study schedule deliverables prior to publication, asking challenging questions to enhance schedule accuracy. </li><li>Collaborate with project departments to prepare detailed schedules and engage with Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team to align schedules. </li><li>Define project schedule metrics and monitor critical path activities to achieve predicted forecasted end-date. </li><li>Update project schedule dashboard, create target comparison models, look-ahead schedules, and present findings to stakeholders. </li><li>Incorporate Last Planner System into schedule and conduct project site progress walks to capture scheduling progress data. </li><li>Generate scheduling reports and provide monthly progress updates for Operations Review Meetings (ORMs). </li><li>Provide support to project end-users to develop proficiency in using scheduling software. </li><li>Participate in Business Development (BD) and Marketing teams to develop proposal scheduling activities. </li><li>Develop and update cost and/or resource loaded schedules. </li><li>Apply continuous improvement methodology to improve scheduling operations. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field. </li><li>4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. </li><li>Experience with large construction projects (>$50m). </li><li>Proficient in scheduling software applications like Oracle Primavera P6. </li><li>Knowledge of scheduling comparison tools such as Acumen Fuse and Change Inspector. </li><li>Understanding of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and Trade practices. </li><li>Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. </li><li>Knowledge of estimating to support project schedule development. </li><li>Familiarity with earned value concepts and construction resources. </li><li>Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines. </li><li>Strong process and analytical skills. </li><li>Highly organized with attention to detail. </li><li>Professional interpersonal skills to develop relationships with project team members and stakeholders. </li><li>Proficient written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in construction positions such as Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent. </li><li>Knowledge of collaborative tools. </li><li>Limited travel required. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work in a construction environment with a team culture. Enjoy two weeks of PTO and 12 holidays. The position is based at various nice worksites.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeville, SC.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
