<p>Solder Assembler (5yrs Solder & Rework)</p> <p>Location: Oldsmar, FL (34677)</p> <p>Job ID: #71031</p> <p>Pay Range: $22-26</p> <p>Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM EST-3:30 PM EST with OT 10hrs, 1 shift FRI or SAT</p> <p>Must take a Medical Exam</p> <p>Open to US Citizens & US Permanent Residents</p> <p>THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.</p> <p>Job Summary: Basically you need 5yrs of Soldering & ReWork experience</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled Solder assembler to join our team, specializing in advanced rework on circuit card assemblies and knowledge of mechanical assembly related to circuit cards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Soldering and Rework techniques, with the ability to work on complex electronics assemblies. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a passion for precision electronics work, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies, including but not limited to: </li><li>BGA (Ball Grid Array) reballing and replacement </li><li>QFN (Quad Flat No-Lead) and other leadless package rework </li><li>High-density connector rework and repair </li><li>Complex SMT (Surface Mount Technology) component replacement </li><li>Through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components </li><li>Fine pitch and high-density components </li><li>Utilize various soldering techniques, including hand soldering and reflow soldering </li><li>Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation </li><li>Inspect and troubleshoot assemblies to identify defects and areas for improvement </li><li>Develop and implement rework procedures for new and existing products </li><li>Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues </li><li>Perform mechanical assembly operations, including: </li><li>Installing stand-offs, spacers, and other hardware </li><li>Assembling and aligning complex mechanical components </li><li>Using adhesives, epoxies, and other bonding agents </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in Soldering & Rework, with a focus on advanced techniques </li><li>Strong understanding of electronics assembly and repair principles </li><li>Proficiency with soldering equipment, including but not limited to: </li><li>Soldering irons and stations </li><li>Reflow ovens and soldering machines </li><li>Experience with inspection and testing equipment, such as microscopes and X-ray machines </li><li>Excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and quality standards </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams </li><li>IPC (Institute for Printed Circuits) certification in soldering and rework (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721) </li><li>Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) and x-ray inspection (AXI) systems </li><li>Assemble and solder electronic components, including: </li><li>Through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills, IPC-A-610, Required: Yes</p> <p>Technical Skills, Name: IPC-J-STD, Required: Yes</p> <p>SCHEDULE:</p> <p>Mon-Thurs -4-10hr days 5am EST-3:30pm EST w/ OT 1ohrs 1 shift FRI or SAT</p> <p>Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.</p> <p>Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
