<p>Job Title: Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)</p> <p>Location: Richer Elementary School</p> <p>Start Date: ASAP</p> <p>Work Year: 2025-2026 School Year</p> <p>184 Work Days Per Year</p> <p>Salary: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00</p> <p>Organizational Relationship or Line of Authority: Reports jointly to the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services & Equity and Director of Special Education, and through him/her the Building Principal.</p> <p>General Responsibilities: The BCaBA specialist, under the supervision of a BCBA, will work with classroom teachers, specialists and support staff to assist in developing, implementing and monitoring behavioral and educational IEP goals with students who are on the autism spectrum and/or have behavioral challenges.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>The BCaBA conducts descriptive behavioral assessments. </li><li>Is able to interpret the results and design ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions for students. </li><li>The BCaBA designs and oversees interventions that are consistent with the dimensions of applied behavior analysis. </li><li>The BCaBA obtains technical direction from a BCBA for unfamiliar situations. </li><li>The BCaBA is able to teach others to carry out interventions and supervise behavioral technicians once the BCaBA has demonstrated competency with the procedures involved under the direct supervision of a BCBA. </li><li>The BCaBA may assist a BCBA with the design and delivery of introductory level instruction in behavior analysis. </li><li>It is mandatory that each BCaBA practice under the supervision of a BCBA. </li><li>The BCaBA will assist with the coordination of daily schedules. </li><li>The BCaBA will assist in developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans, and discrete trials. </li><li>Will summarize and graph daily discrete trial data. </li><li>Provides direct consultation and support for students and staff as needed and requested by Special Educator or BCBA. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and administration to improve programs and procedures. </li><li>Any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisor </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be certified by the BACB as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) </li><li>Bachelor's degree, as required for BCaBA certification </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience with individuals with Autism and/or other behavioral challenges </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred </li></ul> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>It is the policy of the Marlborough Public Schools not to discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, color, homelessness, and sexual orientation, gender identity, age or disability in its education programs, services, activities or employment practices.</p>
