<p>Kforce is seeking a proactive and strategic IT Manager to lead and modernize our technology operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this high-impact role will oversee outsourced IT services, standardize processes, and ensure system reliability, security, and scalability. This is a remote role, but the candidates should be located in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA area.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>IT Manager will manage relationships with external IT partners (MSPs, cloud vendors, etc.) to align with business goals and SLAs </li><li>Develop and maintain centralized IT documentation and standardized procedures </li><li>Collaborate with leadership to assess current IT operations and implement scalable solutions </li><li>Oversee infrastructure (networks, firewalls, servers, cloud environments, AD) to ensure uptime and performance </li><li>Lead security initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks </li><li>Administer user accounts, permissions, and IT policies </li><li>Monitor network performance and develop strategies for infrastructure optimization </li><li>As an IT Manager, you will support cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and cloud-based applications </li><li>Lead internal IT staff (if applicable) and align IT strategy with business objectives* Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field </li><li>5+ years in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role </li><li>Strong vendor and partner management experience </li><li>Deep understanding of IT infrastructure </li><li>Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and frameworks </li><li>Ability to develop structure in decentralized or fast-growing environments </li><li>Proven ability to lead change and establish best practices </li></ul> <p>What Sets You Apart:</p> <ul> <li>Proven success implementing structured IT processes in evolving environments </li><li>Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity </li><li>Experience with remote access solutions and hybrid environments </li><li>Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (.NET, SQL, PHP) </li><li>High accountability, strong work ethic, and effective in both team and independent settings </li></ul>
