<p>RMC is hiring a Supply Technician (Technical Screener) in Indian Head, MD. The selected applicant will be responsible for providing support to personnel on the Purchasing Teams throughout the NSWC IHD Enterprise.</p> <p>Duties may include:</p> <ul> <li>Providing metrics, analysis, procurement screening oversight and corrective actions on Purchase Requisitions (PR) </li><li>Assisting with the input of PRs and initiating work-flows as necessary </li><li>Maintaining records and files for PRs; ensuring related attachments and exhibits are included and correct </li><li>Monitoring the health of PRs using a variety of data provided from Navy ERP and the Procurement Tool </li><li>Updating tracking spreadsheets to maintain status as needed </li><li>Gathering requirements and conducting mandatory sourcing using preferred/authorized government vendors </li><li>Ensuring that final orders meet DoD, Navy and NAVSEA standards for order execution </li><li>Assisting in clearing un-matched receipts, frustrated deliveries and open obligations </li><li>Developing and maintaining performance and accuracy metrics that can be presented as requested </li><li>Working with end users, request generators, authorizing officials and purchasing agents within the command </li><li>Maintaining a professional relationship with all customers and vendors in both written and verbal communications </li><li>Updating internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related resource materials as needed </li></ul>
