<p>Production Worker Middle</p> <p>2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday</p> <p>Pay: $27.58 plus a $1.00 shift differential!</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Holcim Building Envelope is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of a</p> <p>comprehensive product portfolio for commercial building performance solutions,</p> <p>is currently looking for a highly skilled production worker to work out of our</p> <p>Bristol, CT facility.</p> <p>The Production Worker Middle performs general duties that include, but are not</p> <p>limited to: Measuring bundle heights, checking board lengths and square checks.</p> <p>Checks for general defects in material. Communicates quality issues to pour table</p> <p>operators during the production run. Production Worker Middle may also assist</p> <p>with attaching labels and gluing slats to bundles, adjusting saws and may assist in</p> <p>loading of packaging machine plastic.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Machine operation with some quality assurance knowledge </li><li>Monitoring of the product and the equipment i.e. robots, gang saw, crosscut saw, trim saw, conveyors and packaging equipment </li><li>Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according toestablished guidelines </li><li>Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products </li><li>Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handline equipment </li><li>Follows all Standard Operating Procedures Safely </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li><li>One to two years' experience in a shipping/warehousing operation </li><li>One to two years' experience in a manufacturing environment desired </li><li>Experience with inventory software, SAP preferred </li><li>Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift </li></ul> <p>and/or move up to 50 pounds.</p> <ul> <li>This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste. </li></ul> <p>YOUR HOLCIM EXPERIENCE</p> <p>At Holcim, there is endless opportunity for you to play your part.
